...V-Australia Launch
sydney to Los Angeles February 2009
The launch of V Australia was a very exciting gig for Leave It To Diva and a fabulous start to 2009.
A specially devised show was written for the Sydney launch, a fantastic celebrity event on Cockatoo Island,
Sydney Harbour. The fabulous Leave It To Diva cast were transformed into V Australia Showgirls for the evening,
led by the incredible Liz Taylor in Shirley Bassey mode singing Get this party started on this fabulous flight.
The arrival of Sir Richard Branson, James Bond style, on board a helicopter with LITD girls, Monique and Renee,
was in true rockstar style. The party kicked on 'til 2am. Next day we all boarded the inaugural flight
where we had some fun as flight attendants from other airlines applying for positions as V Australia crew.
On to LA where we performed a fabulous Australian flavoured show at the famous Chateau Marmont in Hollywood
and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Julian McMahon, Ashley Simpson and Charlotte from Sex in the City.
The night ended up in Richard's penthouse suite drinking French champagne and looking over the lights of Hollywood.
